Grassroots groups often struggle to do critical social justice work with limited resources. These conditions can prevent us from joining forces to build the power necessary to confront institutionalized racism, austerity, gentrification, climate change, and more.
The PMPC hosts bimonthly Delegate Assemblies, where representatives of our nearly 30 Participating Organizations meet to present our respective work; seek support such as endorsements, policy knowledge, or connections; learn about other campaigns and tactics from special guests; create relationships of trust; and strategize how to strengthen our campaigns and actions to win. The DAs also offer leadership training as youth, houseless, and other community members give presentations for the first time.
